Searching for 2010 MotoGP runner-up

MotoGP Valencia 2010 will be the last race this season. Although the title of world champion Jorge Lorenzo's in the bag, the race would still exciting with the competition jockeyed for position and also the interesting records in there.

* Dani Pedrosa was the only rider ever to win in all three classes at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo Circuit Valencia alias.

* In eight races in Valencia in three classes of existing GP, Pedrosa only once finished outside the podium when he finished the race in fourth position in 2006.

* Pedrosa create a new lap record in his victory in Valencia in 2007, when he starts from pole position. In 2008, Pedrosa finished second and last year he led every lap of the race in time to achieve victory.

* Valentino Rossi has two wins in Valencia. The first occurred in 2003 when riding for Honda and Yamaha are second with a season thereafter.

* Since the last time to win in Valencia in 2004, Rossi recorded a number of different results in the race and qualifying there.

* Two years ago Rossi's third place finish at Valencia after a disappointing qualifying session. Last year Rossi was runner-up in there.

* Casey Stoner recorded his first victory in the grand prix at Valencia in 2003, when he defended the 125cc race in April.

* In his first MotoGP race in Valencia in 2006, Stoner crashes in fifth position when staying seven rounds again to finish.

* Last year Stoner won the pole position but then he crashes during warm lap and could not race....
