David Beckham

LA Galaxy almost approve borrowing agreements England midfielder David Beckham to return to AC Milan in the January transfer market.

Tim Leiweke, chief executive of AEG, which has the Galaxy, said they were aware that Beckham's move will help improve his chances of appearing in the World Cup next summer will come, as quoted by AFP.

Leiweke said that the 34-year-old player that takes one year to support the football team reach the World Cup effort.

"We really appreciate what he was doing here with his national team," Leiweke said at a summit "Leaders in Football" at Stamford Bridge on Thursday.

"I want him to know that we will support him and we will lend him."

Galaxy wants Beckham loan deal done soon so he can concentrate on the challenge of seizing the title with his club.

"We want to do it, for him and for us, because we have work to be completed in the coming weeks and I do not want any confusion," said Leiweke.

"It's the same with Landon (Donovan), a lot of rumors about whether he will stay or go. We'll explain it in two weeks because we want the team to focus."

Leiweke also hopes Beckham can attract big names of others into the club.

"If we do not have a player like David is going to preach to every other big players that we can work together and this is a good place to play and` You really must go and do that `, if we do not have him as our ambassador, then we will never get the other players who take risks like that, "he said.

"That's the battle for us. We can not do this with one person."

Although Leiweke happy to lend Beckham to European clubs before the World Cup, he was convinced the former Manchester United and Real Madrid will complete his contract with the Galaxy.

Beckham signed a five-year contract when he joined the club in 2007 California.

Leiweke said: "We knew he had to play in Europe before the World Cup. It was explained to us, and we will support it.

"He'll be somewhere in January and will see him back in July.
